The QX100 and RX100M2 shares same sensor and lens, BUT the IMAGE PROCESSOR IS DIFFERENT. Sony didn’t clearly mention the type of image processor used in the newly announced QX100 smart lens.

Due to different / Slow image processor we get
1. LOW ISO Range (Unable to process / filter image file with high noise)
2. No Continuous burst mode
3. Limited Video recording capabilities (1440 X 1080)
4. Low shutter range

Other major difference that you will notice is
1. Lack of RAW mode,
2. Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual modes are missing.

Remote Shooting: Please don’t get confused that only QX100 offers you remote shooting ability, Both (QX100 and RX100M2) features Built in WiFi and NFC Technology, you can use you RX100M2 camera or QX100 for remote shooting of images or videos.

Leaked details of a possible inexpensive Fujifilm X-series cameras have hit the web today. The camera pictured in the leaked images is apparently named the X-A1, and appears to be built around a 16MP APS-C CMOS sensor with a more traditional Bayer filter instead of Fujifilm's unique X-Trans, but otherwise it looks pretty similar to the recently released X-M1. Other leaked details mention a 3-inch tilting LCD, Wi-Fi, and 5.6 fps burst mode. Assuming the picture below isn't just an elaborate Photoshop job, it looks like the X-A1 will come in at least three colors: black, blue, and red

Nikon has announced the Coolpix P7800, which sits at the top of its compact camera lineup, replacing last year's P7700 as flagship zoom camera. The P7800 is extremely similar to its nominal predecessor, the most notable change being the addition of an electronic viewfinder.

For those with a short memory, P-series cameras prior to the P7700 had optical viewfinders. The P7700 got rid of that entirely, but gave users a fully articulating LCD in exchange. On the Coolpix P7800 the viewfinder has returned, in electronic form. The EVF has 921,000 dots and covers 100% of the frame.

Other specifications are more or less unchanged compared to the P7700. The camera is built around a 28-200mm (equivalent) F2-4 zoom lens, and features a fully-articulating rear LCD screen, and has plenty of manual control and exposure options, at an MSRP of $549.99.
